BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition Breaks All Time Record for Entries

The BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition has broken all records with 1,616 projects entered into the 2009 exhibition. This represents a significant 14% increase in the overall number of projects across the island.
BT Young Scientist wins in Europe

BT Young Scientist of the year Emer Jones, has scooped second place for her project on “Research and Development of Emergency Sandbag Shelters” at the European Young Scientist competition in Copenhagen in September.

Students across Ireland are being encouraged by BT to start working on their entry for the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition and be in with a chance to secure one of 100 coveted awards at the world leading event. Aspiring scientists, environmentalists, physicists, psychologists, even mechanics and musicians, now have a brilliant opportunity to turn their ideas into a potentially winning entry and submit by Monday, 6th October, 2008.
